Earlier doctors have prescribed Levolin + flohale respules 3 times a day. but since we have relocated to a new city ,our new doctor has prescribed budate respules 3 times a day + bricarex expectorant( 3 times) + montair LC Kid tablets (at night) and some rinojel p suspension ( phenylephrine hcl ip 5 mg +chlorpheniramine maleate 2 mg+ paracetamol 250mg).
I do not understand this change in medicine as symptoms are similar. Which is more suitable, effective and safe ?

Brief Answer:
needs continuous treatment
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Recurrent wheezing at this age needs continued treatment with preventors.
Both flohale and budate.are preventors of different companies.
Either one can be used, but most importantly for 3 to 6 months continuesly.
This will treat her wheezing and prevent future attacks.
Levolin , salbair, asthalin are all temporary relievers, to be given only when there is wheezing.
But the first mentioned preventors should be taken daily as nebulisation or inhaler .
Montair lc will decrease allergies and very safe. So continue.
The other two syrups are just to improve her cold symptoms, can be given for 3 days.
Wishing your child speedy recovery
