Please provide details about your diarhea. For how long do you have the symptoms. How many lose motions do you get in a day. Do you get any other symptoms like fever etc.
I would suggest that you take ORS constituted in clean drinking water. It should be taken after every bout of loose motion or vomiting. If your loose are not more than 3 or 4 times a day and there is no pain in abdomen then you may take a tab of imodium.

diarhea started around 3 AM in the morning. It happened a total of 4 times before i left for work. It Happened again at 5 PM. So overall, happened for a total of 5 times today.
abdomen pain is there if i move much, feels like liquid in stomach. There is no significant fever, though body feels a little warm sometimes.
taking banana and poha with curd as suitable diet. Have taken eldoper around 9 PM after consulting to a chemist before your response came.
Please suggest if am doings things fine and if there are any other precautions to take.
