Suggest Medication For Fever And Sore Throat
Question: I am taking Sotalol 80 mg twice a day and xarelto 20 mg once a day. Are there any antibiotics for a fever and sore throat that will NOT interfere with the two drugs I take for afib?

Locally acting Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily for 7-10 mins ,
Plenty of fluids ,

Are you saying that there are no antibiotics that won't interfere with the Sotalol?

Thank you. I will get the mouth wash and start using it, together with the Tylenol. I did not know what SOS meant in your previous reply. What strength of Tylenol do you recommend, and how often?
