Wound in diabetic patients can get worsen in no time.
There is a need for detailed physical examination.

Depending upon wound size, extent, location - appropriate measure can be suggested. Also there may be need for antibiotics which can be decided only after examination.

In general, good diabetes control and off loading of foot (avoid weight bearing on affected foot) are important in diabetic wound healing.

Better to consult your treating diabetologist or foot surgeon immediately.
