Question: I am a diabetic and my foot has discoloration on the bottom of my left heel. Beneath the skin is dark purple blood and scaly scabs. It is sensitive to touch but it is not hurting at this time Any assistance is appreciated.

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.

Looking at pictures you have uploaded there is likely possibility of pus collection which indicate infection.
In such a case detailed physical examination including vascular assessment is important depending upon it there may be need for arterial doppler to assess blood supply, ultrasound of foot to know depth lesion and imaging like xray or MRI of foot to know underlying bone involvement.
Depending upon all above there is likely need for surgical debridement of wound.

As it is involvement of heel of foot which is a important pressure point for weight bearing without delay consult diabetic foot surgeon for detailed evaluation.

Simultaneously blood sugar control, off loading of foot is also important.
