Suggest Medication For Irregular Heartbeat
Question: I have AFIB and am taking Tikyson, metropolol and Xarelto for it, I am having some diverticulitis issues what antibiotic can I take that does not effect the AFIB. I am allergic to Amoxicillin so can't take that.

You have Atial Fibrillation and currently diverticulitis. If you were on coumadin or warfarin then your antibiotic choices will influence your bleeding times but now that you are on xarelto there are no drug interactions with antibiotics. Your current medication tikyson though will interact with certain antibioitcs specifically erythromycin and cipro. So you will probably be on flagyl and possibly a cephlasporin if you need to be on antibiotics.
