Question: Are there still some Class A or B meds that can be used in 2nd. & 3rd. trimester for sereve nasal congestion causing migraines? I am 34+ yrs. L&D nurse.

Hi,

Both paracetamol and antihistamine cetrizine are class B drugs that can help in this situation. However as these are not class A medications, I would only use them if its absolutely necessary. I would always prefer to treat nasal congestion with regular steam inhalation and warm fluids. I suggest you to try steam and use medical drugs sparingly.
