Suggest Medication To Improve Monocytes Count In Blood

Posted on Fri, 20 Jan 2017
Question: How can a person increase their monocytes count? I've learned that white blood cells called monocytes are the little vacuum cleaners or clean up crew for dead cells. I've had chemotherapy and want to get all the dead cells out of my body, so my energy improves.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. They increase on their own

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the query. So monocytes are natural defence cells and they increase on their own. They may get suppressed after chemo. In that case growth factor called filgrastim may be given to increase them.
Thanks and regards
