There are several effective medicines available for treatment of excessive gas trouble. One among them is proton pump inhibitors eg: Omeprazole, pantoprazole. These drugs are very effective and routinely used in the treatment of gas trouble.
I usually prescribe Pantoprazole 40mg to my patients, daily one tablet on empty stomach early in the morning.
Together with this, lifestyle and dietary changes in the form of healthy diet and exercise is required to control the gas trouble.
