Ultrazox can be taken to stop the jerks however a better drug would be Tab Acelecofenac with chlorzoxazone popularly called Hifenac MR it can be taken twice daily but please do not take it for more than 3 days.It is a muscle relaxant plus a pain killer combination

Tab Baclofen 5 mg is a good muscle relaxant and it has worked very well in patients with cerebral palsy but the side effect profile includes extreme drowsiness in some people and respiratory difficulty, please use it with caution after consulting your physician.

Very good drug with a fairly good side effect profile is Tab Tramadol, it can be used two to three times daily, it gives excellent pain relief.

If the pain is very severe I also recommend you to visit Pain clinic, which will be there in most institutes, you can ask for something called as a Fentanyl patch, it provides instant and a prolonged relief.
