Brief Answer:
Xylometazoline, Chlorpheniramine, allergist opinio

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

It might be important to take topical agents like Xylomethazoline (XylomaphaR/Otrivine) nasal spray sprays. Oral agents depending on the intensity like Chlorpheniramine tablets could be associated.

It is however important to get a careful evaluation of the allergic state. You might have to be put on drugs for a long term, or get some tests done. Severe allergies might require you to get a complete panel to identify substances you are allergic to so you could avoid them. In severe cases, immune desensitization therapy can be implemented to render those too allergic to substances better.

Take the over the counter drugs now, remain warm but consult an allergist in case symptoms persist or aggravate.

kind regards,

Dr Bain
