Question : I have a red patch on the right side of my neck , visible near the right ear to the front of my neck I have recently been diagnosed with overactive thyroid

XXXXXXX this is a photo so this rash isnt serious? Ive nevrr had this before

Hello. The patch would have nothing to do with your thyroid condition. Most likely it's either inflammatory eczema or ringworm. You need to see a doctor to determine whether you need cortisone cream or prescription ketoconazole cream to treat it

I appreciate the photo. This is eczema and nothing serious. You can use Cortisone cream twice a day for a week and that should clear it up.
