My son(9 months old) is having cold since yesterday and we are putting Nasoclear drop. yesterday night he had lots of mucus in nose even after putting nasoclear it was not coming out due to this my son was crying a lot.
1-Can we use bulb syringe to remove mucus or any other way around?
2- how often we can put naso-clear drop?

Use saline nasal drops as frequently as required
Detailed Answer:
Hi....I understand your concern.
Cough and cold are viral 95% of the times in children. For cold you can use anti-allergics like cetirizine and for nose block, saline nasal decongestants will do.
For fever - Paracetamol can be given in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose (max ceiling dose 500mg) every 4-6th hourly, that too only if fever is more than 100F. I suggest not using combination medicines for fever, especially with Paracetamol.
For cold you can use Cetrizine at 0.25mg/kg/dose every 12 hourly for 3 days.
For nasal block, plain saline nasal drops will do, every 4-6th hourly to relive nasal congestion. You can use saline nasal drops as frequently as possible.
Coming to your queries -
1. You can use bulb sucker to clear his nostrils, but please do it gently. Do not press the whole bulb of the sucker as it will generate high pressure.
2. You can use saline nasal drops or Nasoclear as frequently as required.
3. You can introduce almond in his diet, no problem.
