Suggest Remedy For Metallic Taste In Mouth

Hello. Metallic taste in mouth for 6 days, and food tastes unusual, like metal. Had the flu the end of January, and doc prescribed Z-pack, plus I take daily vitamins. Doctor says its from the medication, and to stop vitamins. Could take a month to regain my regular taste buds. Other than a lil post nasal drip/stuffy nose, I feel absolutely perfect. What say you?

Hello,

I recommend checking iron and vitamin B12 plasma levels for possible deficiency. I recommend taking also vitamin B12 complex supplements to help gain your normal taste again.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
