Brief Answer:
Read below.

Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern. Concussion can at times affect sleeping patterns.

If we exclude medication then the only thing to do though is pay attention to sleep hygiene. By that I mean actions which might affect sleeping difficulties:
-Naps during the day should be avoided.
-In the evening should be avoided stimulating substances such as coffee, energy drinks etc.
-Avoid watching TV or other activities which excite the nervous system before sleep, avoid situations which may lead to conflict and stress in the evening.
-Assure that your bedroom is dark, it should possibly be a place related to sleep, not a place where you do other activities such as watching tv or reading, your bed should be associated with sleep only
-Avoid big meals before bed
-Soothing activities such as warm baths in the evening may also help
