Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to Healthcare Magic..
I have read your query in detail and will try my level best to help you out so that your pain gets relieved..
As per your complain you have pain after 2 weeks of extraction of wisdom tooth along with difficulty in opening the mouth can be related to causes like unhealed socket [dry socket], injuries related to jaw joint etc..
Nerve pain can also be a cause but would like to know a few more details so that I can have a better understanding for the cause of your problem and guide you appropriately..
Please answer the following questions:
1. Is the pain present since the tooth was extracted or it started later on,if yes then when did the pain started?
2.Is the pain only at the extraction site or is radiating to forehead, ear etc?
3.Is the pain always present or comes and goes throughout the day?
4.Is the pain subsided with painkillers or still continues?
5.Do you have an swelling over the cheek?
6.Do you have symptoms like bad breath or bad taste in mouth?
Please revert back with answers..
Thanks and regards.

Hi
Welcome back..
As per the answers it still looks like an infection only and also a possibility that the extraction socket is unhealed leading to Dry socket, that is also a painful condition..
If you experienced a short bout of severe pain when the needle was inserted then it could be nerve injury
For confirmation I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon and repeating an x ray along with MRI scan to check for nerve related injury can be done so that treatment can be advised accordingly
As of now you can take higher painkillers like Tramadol or Ketorolac after getting prescribed by the dentist as they can relieve severe pain and make you last painless longer than Panadol and Nurofen.
Any further queries are welcome..
Regards.
