Suggest Remedies For Heavy Menstrual Bleeding, Dizziness And Fatigue

Question: When is a period too heavy-I am 45 and healthy but my periods have been getting worse-twice today I have flooded my pads and bled all over the toilet floor-I feel very weak, shaky, dizzy and tears-is this normal?
Brief Answer:
Consult an OBGYN
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Heavy bleeding is common in your age group due to hormonal changes.
However, endometrial hyperplasia should be ruled out.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined internally and take tranexemic acid tablets to control the bleeding.
Endometrial biopsy may be required to confirm the diagnosis and get appropriate treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
