Suggest Remedies For Herpes

Brief Answer:
How did you know that you have Herpes 1?
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You said HSV1 is not tested where you are. So how did you find out that you have it? Generally, herpes is not treated unless it becomes extensive. If you have extensive rash, kindly upload an image for review and recommendations on how to address it. Just a few would normally resolve spontaneously and do not need to be treated with antivirals.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free o ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

I had the other place test for it. HSV1 positive. HSV2 negative. HIV negative...then they said it might be folliculitis and put me on Cephalexin. There is no place to upload a photo here.
Brief Answer:
I have seen the attached image!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have reviewed this image. This is not typical of herpes. Though the herpes serology is positive, I suspect that this is from a previous information. I will lean towards folliculitis and treat with cephalexin like your doctor. This would be able to help address the lesions.
I wish you well.

The only problem is that I have itching and burning throughout my body. Like tingling...
Brief Answer:
Add hydroxyzine to your treatment!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Add hydroxyzine to your treatment. This will address the itching that you have reported. I recommend you take 50mg thrice daily. Be careful as this can cause dizziness and loss of sharpness as side effects.
I wish you well. Keep me posted on your progress.

Cephalexin for the folliculitis.....Nothing for herpes!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Cephalexin is okay for the folliculitis. Also, endeavor to cleanse regularly with an antiseptic such as iodine. Otherwise, there is no need for any other drug especially for herpes.
