Brief Answer:
It could be Musculoskeletal skeletal origin.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Actually, hip joint has no relation to coughing and sneezing. Many muscles act during coughing and sneezing. In that process, muscles in relation to hip joint also act leading to pain.
Even during bowel movement, hip joint pain may occur due to position.
I prescribe skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside to my patients with similar complaints.
If there is no response, I will ask for Xray hip joint. If it is inconclusive, I will go for MRI of the hip joint.
Please consult a qualified Orthopaedic Ian, get examined clinically and proceed accordingly.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
