Involuntary twitching
Detailed Answer:
Good afternoon. Involuntary muscle twitching can happen due to a variety of irritants present such as fatigue, muscle fatigue, alcohol withdrawal, injury, medications, dehydration, metabolic disturbances such as thyroid or adrenal gland derangements, and there are many more causes.
However, the most common reason for muscle twitching in general in all people turns out to be UNKNOWN and more importantly TRANSIENTLY BENIGN. In other words, most muscle twitching comes on and itself subsides within minutes, hours, or at times days with some breaks. In even a smaller percentage of cases twitching can go on for days, weeks, or months. Therefore, how we usually approach these sorts of situations is to first examine and get a history from the patient as to when the twitching started and all the salient history regarding its evolution.
We then, run basic labs to include electrolytes, liver and renal enzymes, thyroid and adrenal hormones, perhaps a urinalysis, and then, depending on these labs we may or may decide to go on to either an EMG/NCV or we may just watch and wait to see how things go since most of the time the twitching stops and goes away.

BTW, you can rest assured that no vein or artery running in your forehead has the ability to cause such twitching of the muscles to occur. This is purely a muscle/nerve phenomenon.
