Question: just had urine sample
aspect is turbid, WBC/HPF is 16-18/HPF
everything else is normal.
Just got off antibiotics 2 weeks ago, my WBC/HPF was 50-53,
It's not back down to normal range of 5 or below.
Do I still have some sort of infection?

Brief Answer:
Your UTI is still not completely eradicated .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you had UTI and have been taking antibiotics since 2 weeks but your urine analysis has revealed 16-18 WBC which suggest that you still have infection and need to continue appropriate antibiotic as per urine culture report (.I assume that urine culture has been done and appropriate antibiotic has been prescribed ).

Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Doc did not do urine culture, he prescribed 3 different antibiotics for me to take. Including injections for 5 days. I'm thinking the last one I took, was only 500MG once a day for 5 days and was not a strong enough dose (cipromax) I think it was.
