Question: I have Pleural Effusion. Will flying in an airplane worsen my condition?

Hi and welcome.

Well this is not large pleural effusion and if other breathing functions are fine and you dont have dyspnea or heart disease then short flights (up to 2 hours) are safe for your. But if you have associated heart or thrombosis disorder then you need to reconsider flying with your doctor.
