Suggest Remedies For Pricked Vein Behind The Hand

Question: XXXXXXX thorn pricked vein on back of my hand. Washed it and sprayed peroxide. However, bluish lump came up. By end of day, lump dispersed leaving top of hand bruised. By end of week bruise almost gone, no swelling. Then I banged the injured area on an open draw. Small swelling appeared and slightly tender. And the puncture mark during all of the above was still present. Began rubbing coconut oil on hand and taking oil of oregano. It is now 5 days since the bang. Puncture mark has disappeared, swelling going away SLOWLY. Still a little tender, but very little. Also have felt a little fatigued since this occurred (which is out of character for me). I am a little concerned because the prick was directly into the vein. And it was healing fine until a banged the injury. Any advice much appreciated.
Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description the recent symptoms are most likely not related to the thorn injection/ prik initially.
They are due to the blunt trauma. NSAIDs and topical antiseptic like poi done diluted solution should be advised.
If the swelling persists or worsens and there is associated allergic response e.g appearance of a rash or shortNess of breath etc then antihistamines and corticosteroids can be advised.
please consult your doctor before taking any further course of action
Wishing you best of health
