Suggest Remedies For Pulmonary Edema
Question: Hello,
I previously asked "What is the time frame from the beginning of sepsis symptoms until death?" Then it took me a considerable length of time to get my membership and fill out all of my medical information, as I have a lot of health issues and take a lot of medication. My question is seriously time sensitive so I have included additional information to explain why I am asking this. If I could recieve a quick reply I would really appreciate it.
I previously had sepsis last July 2nd. I believe this is due to me having CAEBV (chronic active ebstein barr virus). The literature, including information from JAMA and at least a couple of studies all describe the desease as being very rare and high morbidity and high mortality. People who aquired this illness usually have a compromised immune system, as I do. The studies I read showed an average lifespan, after diagnosis, of 7 years in Japan and 3 years in the US (the virus apparently infects different cells in the two countries) with the 3 main causes of death being a type of cancer (I dont remeber the type), secondary infections, and I believe the third cause was liver failure but not absolutely sure. My memory has become very bad in the last two years, but I know one of the causes was listed as secondary infections.
Articals on sepsis usually say that people with compromized immune systems are more susseptable and that once you have had sepsis you are more likely to get it again. I have been having the same symptons as I had on July 2nd - severe shaking, elevate blood pressure and heart rate and reduced urination. However, my current symptoms are mild compared to those in July. I hate to go to the ER and waste the doctors' and my own time, so I want to know a realistic timeframe to see how long I have to continue to evaluate my symptoms before having to make a decision.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
Your question has appeared again, may this was the second half of the question you sent earlier.
As I said by your symptoms and descriptions looks like you are having pulmonary edema which is accumulation of fluid in the lungs.
As I said before please increase the oxygen level in your dispenser upto 4 litres per minute.
And go to the ER .
One more addition is don't drink more water or fluid till you reach ER and get yourself investigated further
Hope this helps
Best wishes
