Question: I have a scrotal hematoma as the result of a vasectomy that took place 10 days ago. Thenleft side of my scrotum is hard and still about softball sized. Is this normal?

I am sorry to hear that you had significant post op bleeding and hematoma from a vasectomy. This is very common. There is nothing more you can do to help the situation. Time will slowly remove the hematoma but it may take several weeks. This is to be expected. You don't need to worry about the enlargement. If you develop fever or a purulent discharge then I would recommend that you contact your surgeon immediately.
