Suggest Remedies For Severe Back Pain
Question: I lift weights and picked up a heavy barbell and felt a pain on the left side of my back that extends to the back of my left leg; almost as if it wants to cramp up.
It doesn't extend all the way down my leg but in the area of the hamstring although the hamstring itself is not hurting.
Can you give me any clues as to what has happened?

Brief Answer:
Take rest.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have got the query.
It seems you have developed a disc prolapse which occurs due to weightlifting.
So in my opinion you should take rest for three days.
Avoid any type of weightlifting, running jogging.
Have tab.aceclofenac100mg+thiocolchicoside4mg twice a day by prescription of your family doctor as this is not over the counter medicine.
Apply painkiller ointment locally twice a day.
You qill be alright after a week.
I hope you got the point.
Thanks,
