Suggest Remedies For Severe Diarrhea Post A Kidney Transplant
Question: I was diagnosed with kidney failure in 2014 and was on dialysis for a year before receiving a transplant last September 2015. Since being on medication I have been experiencing frequent episodes of diarrhoea which are quite prolonged. I had never had any stomach problems previously. I was wondering if there is anything I can take to alleviate the symptoms.

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows :
You are reporting to have diarrhea after kidney transplant.
I woul like to know more about
- your current medications .
- if your bm are some times diarrhea and sometimes constipation.
- do you have blood on your stool
Otherwise your symptoms may be related with:
- IBS
- medications side effects
- gut infection/bacterial gut misbalance.
This is why if you were my patient I would recommend to do :
-colonoscopy
- fecal test for ova/parasites /candida or other infections.
