Brief Answer:
Small kidney stones come out by themselves

Detailed Answer:
hi,

kidney stones cause pain when they move down the urine passage if the stones are of less than 6 mm in size it is likely that they will come out by themselves. pain is a common occurrence. if your serum creatinine is normal ( blood test to determine kidney function) then you can take ibuprofen and paracetamol combination. keep it handy with you. you can take up to 3 tablets a day. but this is no substitute for professional medical help. so you should definitely try to meet a doctor.

If kidney function are not good ( serum creatinine is high). then you shoud take tramadol and paracetamol combinations.

best wishes
