cervical collar will help
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting the question.
I have gone through your query in detail.
Any knid of neck pain that radiates to the back of the head most probably results from a inflammed nerve in the neck region ( neuritis) or muscle (muscular tendinitis).
This may occur due to using a pillow below the neck while sleeping or working in front of the system for prolonged periods of time.
You can use a cervical collar surely for this.It has to be used during the working hours and removed intermittently (remove for 10 minutes every hourly). Stretching exercises of neck in these 10 minutes can help.
Take anti inflammatory and methycobalamin / pregabalin tablets.
Applying local analgesic gel followed by hot fomentation will be helpful.
These measures should definitely help you.
If it doesn't help, then you should get a recent MRI done again to rule out a slipped disc in the cervical vertebra.
Considering the history of migraine that you have, the symptoms at present are not classical of a migraine attack.
I hope the answer was useful.
Feel free to ask me any doubts that you may have regarding this question.
I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
Kind regards and Best wishes.
