Based on your description you seem to have strained muscles of the neck. This condition resolves with time. If you are not already well, you can try hot compresses. Apply a pain agent topically. I suggest voveran spray. In addition if required you can take oral pain medicine coupled with muscle relaxant like tablet zerodol th or mobizox tablet twice a day for couple of days.
