Brief Answer:
X-Ray should be done

Detailed Answer:

Hi and Welcome to HCM.

It is not usual that pain occur after such period so you should do X-Ray of the Knee Joint(AP & Lateral) to see is there migration of osteosinthetic material or sign of Osteomyelitis.

Till then, keep your leg elevated, apply cold compresses and take nonsteroid painkillers(i.e. Tab PARACETAMOL 650mg Three times a day after food ).

Wish you good health.
Regards
