Question: I have severe running nose and dry cough for the
last three weeks. I took few medicine and still not recovered. please find the attachment for tablet I have taken ( dated 18 July)and new prescription.

If you are allergic to dust, powder , plant or any allergen.Avoid the allergen completely.
The drugs which are given int prescription are good. You may continue taking it
Staying well-hydrated. Drinking 8 8-oz glasses of water per day can help thin secretions in the respiratory tract.
Gargling with salt water.
Using cough drops or lozenges that soothe your throat.
For running nose you can take Tab sinarest, morning and night.

I was taking Montair LC tablet 0-0-1 for the last one week. Is it safe during breastfeeding? my 20 months old baby also got severe cold from me for last 2 days. It will spread if it's respiratory infection?

Sinarest contains Paracetamol , Chlorphenaramine and Pseudoephedrine. Among these Paracetamol and Chlorphenaramine are safe but Pseudoephedrine though doesn't affect the baby it may reduce breast milk production.
If it is a single dose then no problem you can take . But if you are planning to take it for 2-3 days then better not .
Better you can continue Montair LC for 3 more days with steam inhalation.
Meet your Gynecologist if it is not reducing.
Severe cold is nothing but respiratory infection.Its already infected your baby.Meet pediatrician if cols is getting increased to your baby.
