Suggest Remedies For Severe Vomiting During Pregnancy

I finished 1st trimester of pregnancy and entered 4th month stage. I used to vomit once in 1-2 days so had things under control. but the day I entered 4th month (I was under impression that my nausea and puking sensation would subside but) I experienced horrific 3 days of continuous vomits from XXXXXXX 17th afternoon I have been vomiting on eating anything and becoming weak, reducing weight. Currently I have been taking Tablet Rantac 150 twice a day (additional to folic acid and Support). All I want is to have less of vomiting so that I will be able to eat heartily and also to know why to puking happens while pregnant. Please suggest. thanks in Advance
Doxinate helps
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Vomiting due to pregnancy usually subsides by 4th month. It occurs due to various hormonal changes in the body due to pregnancy.
However, in some patients the vomiting continues for 9 months of pregnancy.
Tablet doxinate thrice a day is advised to control vomiting.
Other causes of excessive vomiting like liver disease, gastroenteritis etc should be ruled out by proper examination and investigations.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper examination and hence the treatment should be done accordingly.
You should avoid excessive tea, coffee and spicy food.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
