my sister is a house wife and live in a small village - andra. she has a lot of work to do in routine. she cannot take rest. i want to take her a proper medical facility for treatment.
problem started:
synise: this infection really makes her life worst. it starts when she leaves bed - continues sneezes upto 10 to 15 she need to face with heavy head blocked nose in early morning. thick water like Belgium running from her eye whole day. If she feel thirsty of water and water she drinks is little chill then again the sneezes starts. Normally she afraid to drink water even the day is XXXXXXX She is very strict about her food and clothing of clean but she need to work in field and with castles.

went to medical: doctor stated that there would be a need of surgery but not possible due to sneezes. provided some drugs but no sign of cure found.
ayurvedic medicine: she wanted to see an ayurvedic doctor - same - no sign of recovery found.
Then homeo medicine: finally we reached to homeo physician - there we saw some hope. homeo medicine only helps in little lowering the symptoms but not fully curing.

Steam inhalation is likely to provide relief
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through the details provided. I find a direct correlation between the blockage of her nasolacrymal duct as well as her sinus problem. In either case the culprit seems to be thick mucus. My suggestion would be to ask her to take steam inhalation a few times a day. Alternatively, nebulization with 3% NaCl can also be taken. The water in form of vapor will reach deep inside and would help in diluting the cough and would thus provide relief. This has to be continued. Some antiallergic like cetiritizine can be taken once daily off and on for a few days. I would also insist on gentle stroking from the angle of eye on each side downward to the ala of the nose. This should help in opening of the nasolacrymal ducts. Probing can be done but unless the thick mucus is taken care of, thing are unlikely to improve.
I do not think that anything else is likely to be helpful.
Let me know if I could help further.

It is not a lethal disease.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I can understand your apprehension (both yours and hers). Let me assure that it is not a lethal disease and she is not going to die. This is a treatable condition and sinusitis does not kill anyone. However, getting nebulization is very important. I do not see the role of any surgery.
Numerous people have diabetes. But even though it is not curable, with treatment people can lead a normal life and can have a long life. Similar is her case. So, ask her to stop panicking.
