Suggest Remedies For Swelling In The Neck

Question: This is a picture of the front of my neck. I am looking up. Does the area that has a green box around it look swollen? What would cause this?

In my opinion , compare to opposite side , area under green box is swollen.

I have read your query , seen your picture and understand your concern.

In my opinion , compare to opposite side , area under green box is diffusely swollen .

Common causes are
1) Lymph nodes swelling
2) Thyroid tissue enlargement
3) Vascular tissue enlargement
4) Neurofibroma

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
get investigation done like ultrasonography (USG) Neck to confirm & know the cause for swelling .

Anatomically neck is divided into different Levels .

Area of your neck in green box comes in between level 4 & 6 on left side ( Supraclavicular region on left side ).
