Suggest Remedies For Throat Pain

Question: Hi I'm 29/M I have a throat pain in right side when I touch I touch it pain will be more. I had a tonsillitis ..please advice..

I would like to prescribe amoxicillin and clavullinic acid

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern; it suggest that most probably you may be suffering from the tonsillitis.

If I were the your treating doctor then I would like to prescribe you
1. Antibiotic combination Amoxicillin and clavullinic acid twice a day.
2. Antiseptic mouth gargles at least twice a day.
3. Mild pain killers such as paracetamol and
4. Avoid drinking cold water, ice cream and cold drinks if you have.
Continue the above treatment for at least 7 days after consulting your doctor.

If the condition persist even after the 7 days then I would also suggest you throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity and oral examination.
