Suggest Remedies For Vaginal Prolapse In An Elderly Person

Question: After having a bowel movement, I felt a bulge in my vagina. I am away from home, and have a seriously handicapped husband, I cannot leave alone, what should I do? I am 74 years old.
Brief Answer:
It may be due to uterine prolaps
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear ane thanks fot your query.
I have read your question and understand your concern.
Feeling a bulging vagina after bowel movement may be due to uterine prolapse.
Prolaps of uterus is shifting down of uterus on vaginal area due to weakness of ligaments.
But diagnosis can be done only by doing a pelvic exam by your gynecologist.
Until you will do a pelvic exam try to eat much more fiber rich foods and much more fluids to stop excessive bowel movements.
If you have any further questions please feel free.
Best regards
