Suggest Remedy For Anxiety While On Nexito
Question: hello dr.
i suffering from anxiety since april 2011. I am taking nexito 10 mg since then. Now I am going to get married. Will there be any problem in my marriage and children. Will i be able to perform sexual activity fully.
Recently my anxiety increased and i could not sleep for one day having sysmptom like in 2011. I changed dr. and he put me on zaptra 25mg and goodnoct 12.5mg at night and cipar 20mg and tetrafol in the morning for the last two days
Please suggest this is mild anxiety or major anxiety. I also have conspitation problem. How can i stop these medicines. I am giving all my exams etc. Can i stop these medicines fully. I am in deep fear please help

Nexito is a good antianxiety and antidepressant.
I think you should not have stopped the drug on your own if you were doing well on this drug.
All antidepressants can cause sexual problem like delayed ejaculation or impaired erection.
Are you able to masturbate satisfactorily while taking nexito? If yes, you would be able to do intercourse with your wife successfully.
You said you experienced anxiety symptoms like earlier. Did these symptoms appear after you stopped nexito?
Your new doctor has started zaptra for you.
Zaptra is also a good medicine but can cause sedation, constipation and delayed ejaculation (notorious among all SSRI antidepressants for this).
Goodnoct is zolpidem and is used for insomnia.
Ciplar is propranolol and used for anxiety.
These medicines are good but if you were doing well on nexito, I think you should restart with it.
As the anxiety relapsed, I think its major anxiety.
These drugs are stopped by gradually reducing the dose and not abruptly.
You can stop medicines slowly. But you neex some lifestyle changes like practing deep breathing and meditation, avoiding tea coffee and alcohol, eating green vegetables and fruits, drinking lots of water.

If the anxiety still persists, then you can increase the dose.

You have to be cautious in increasing the dose as this can further affect sexual function. Try to keep the dose to minimum possible.
For constipation and gas, you should drink lots of water. Eat fibrous foods and avoid fatty foods. You can also take one tablet dulcolax in night. This should clear your constipation.
For gas, take tablet omeprazole.
