Question: after
out of the shower I noticed blood on my towel and a trail from shower to sink. I checked all over and found the bleeding coming from what appears to be a vein. I have not been hit in the scrotum and I am applying pressure and it seems to slow it down what else should I do

Brief Answer:
Pressure is the best you can do.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Pressure is the best you can do it. Try to elevate the bleeding area to decrease the blood pressure. It should stop bleeding after few minutes, however sometimes it may take longer. Especially if you do take anticoagulants.
No need to do anything else.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

So this is a common thing. I can go to work once the bleeding stops
Brief Answer:
This can happen.
Detailed Answer:
It is not very common, but vein bleeding without particular reason can happen from time to time. Generally small vein bleeding is nothing dangerous. However if it will recur or happen again in different area, you should consider blood coagulation check.
Once the bleeding stops, you can go to work for sure.
