Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation In The Sinus Area

Menopause related????
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand symptoms such as these are difficult to diagnose. Yes sensory seizure and neurological condition are possibilities. However since it occurs cyclically I would also consider menopause associated hormone disorder as one of the more likely possibility.
Typically menopause is described as hot flashes. But since you describe burning as 'starting on the face (sinus area) and spreading to the whole body' we might as well consider it as a menopausal symptom.
That being said, without good examination and investigation we cannot arrive at a conclusive diagnosis. You may consider visiting a neurologist and check for neurological condition first. I would have ordered for complete hemogram, blood sugar, vitamin b12, vitamin D, TSH, calcium and magnesium test along with MRI of brain. EEG is more specific tool if we need to rule out seizure. If these test are not conclusive, perhaps you can consider consulting menopause treating gynecologist.
You have reported a short lasting symptom and no other alarming feature. So do not be worried. Keep yourself stress free and away from anxiety. We still have a chance to diagnose and treat this problem.
Hope this helped. And sorry for the late reply.
Best Regards
