Suggest Remedy For Clear Vaginal Discharge After D And C

I had an evitablw abortion( D& C with suction) a week ago, friday feb 20th.
I was bleeding very lighly for about 3 days, color changed to browinsh and it stopped. I was feeling well amd went back to normal activities. I worked out 3 days this week( not very difficult exercise, not very heavy weights).Yesterday i had a massage. It was very hard, only on tge back side of my body, not in the front. Since then i felt a few times some pinch trough the abdomen, just for a few seconds. Tonight i am bleeding again, bright red color and my urine smells like during the pregnancy, also i saw some vaginal discharge( ckear, yellowish). I am worried that the massus did something to me by oressing some points. I am worried. I don't have fever.
Thank you!

Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
After an abortion, it is common to bleed for a few days.
At times, spotting and bleeding might persist right upto 2 - 3 weeks.
The cramps and the pain that you have, would be due to the bleeding.
You need not worry as long as you are not having the following ominous signs -
1. Fever
2. Foul smelling discharge
3. Soaking more than 2 maxi pads per 2 hours
4. Fainting and dizziness.
If the bleeding gets out of hand ( beyond the limit I explained ) then seek medical attention.
If it lasts beyond 3 - 4 days, seek attention again.
In any case, even if it stops, you need to have a follow up ultrasound scan 15 days after the D and C, to confirm that the abortion process was complete and the uterine cavity is empty.
Yes, it is possible that the back massage stimulated uterine cramps and brought on some bleeding, but then that is okay, and would stop in a few hours.
It is also possible that a small clot or some tissue was inside, and is now getting expelled, that is also alright.
All the best.
Please feel free to discus further.

Thanks again
A temperature above 100 is concerning
Detailed Answer:
A temperature above 100 is concerning.
If it persists, yes, you should call the doctor tomorrow.
Is there any other reason for the fever - a possible viral infection ( headache, body ache, unexplained malaise and fatigue ) ?
Any kind of stress, lack of sleep , over exertion etc ?
If the fever cannot be explained by any other factor, and it persists, yes, make an early appointment , before your 15 days are up.
