Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea After Taking Indomethacin

Question: My husband takes indomethacin 50mg for gout. He always gets very bad diaria is there anything he can take for it.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. If he has diarrhoea because of Indomethacin than it is recommended to change the drug to Naproxen along with probiotic (good bacteria) like lactobacillus (sachet sporlac/cap. vizylac).

There is no specific drug to counteract the side effect ( diarrhoea) of indomethacin. But you may give him XXXXXXX sporlac as discussed earlier. Best would be to avoid indomethacin and take any other pain killer like naproxen.
