Brief Answer:
Proper burping is important

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.

I have gone through your query. After weaning at 6 months, the consistency for the first two or three months should be just like thick liquid. Thereafter it should be smoothly mashed semisolid and by one year it should be lumpy semisolids. Deviation may cause uneasiness.

Give small but repeated feeds. Also be sure to burp the child properly. Hold him erect for about 20 mins after each feed.

Try these and things should soon be fine.

Regards

thank you for the reply doctor. we are following the mentioned pattern for solids feed. he is also having burp after each feed. but recently he's started getting uncomfortable in the middle of the feed while feeding solids food and sometimes during breastfeeding. for solids food we are giving dal n rice water, ragi porridge n cerelac.

Brief Answer:
Proper burping should help

Detailed Answer:
Seems reasonable. Hold the child erect while feeding. Give some water along. Breastfeed more often if problem persists.
