Suggest Remedy For Disorientation When Weaning Off Pregnisolone
Question: Do you become disoriented when you come off of pregnisolone if you have been on the full daily dose of 8 tablets is it or should you take a smaller dose to come down from that amount ?

Hi and welcome to HCM.
Withdrawal syndrome is known side effect of sudden stopping of steroid hormones especially prednisolone and its derivates.
so it should be gradually decreased during 4-6 weeks especially if taken in full dosage an in longer period. However, withdrawal symptoms are usually mild and self limtiing,but you should considered going back to minimal dosage if condition isnt improving. Wish you good health. Feel free to ask. Regards
