Suggest Remedy For Distorted Vision In A Diabetic

Question: for no apparent reason my vision in my left eye suddenly went wavy. I am a type 2 diabetic and have CAD, CHF, and other health issues. Is this something I should worry about?
Brief Answer:
Retinal detachment
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You are concerned that you have lost the vision in your left eye. This sounds like you have a detached retina. I would recommend that you make an appointment with an ophthalmologist ASAP. They can treat this condition and help prevent any further eye damage. DOn't wait because the longer you wait the more chance of permanent eye damage

I didn't lose vision , it was just wavy and lasted for about an hour.
Brief Answer:
still could be retinal detachment
Detailed Answer:
I still think that you may have a retinal detachment and need an ophthalmologist to check. The other diagnosis is an ophthalmologic migraine. This is like a migraine headache with aura but no headache after the aura (the wavy lines)
I think it is in your best interest for a doctor to check your vision and eyes to be sure you did not have a retinal detachment
