Brief Answer:
You may take the following measures

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to the HCM

I understand your concerns but don't worry. Most likely cause of these symptoms are self limiting viral infections which improve within 1-2 weeks with appropriate symptomatic treatment.
So I would suggest you to take the following measures:
1. Use normal saline nasal drops instead of nasomist as its more safe. Use it followed by gentle nasal suction regularly when ever the baby seems stuffy.
2. Give Tixylix baby syrup 2.5ml thrice daily for dry cough. It's safe and soothing.
3. Use room humidifier while sleeping if the weather is dry.
4. Use acetaminophen for fever episodes (temperature more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and repeat it after 6-8 hours if required.
5. You may continue steam. But take good care to avoid burns.
6. Ensure regular feeds to maintain hydration.

If the child has breathing problems, fever with poor feeding then go for a chest X Ray to rule out any pneumonia.
Hopefully it will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care

Thanks for your revert.
We just checked her temperature and it's 97.9.
She is taking feed and with regular steam feeling little ok.
We are planning a 3 day short vacation to a hill station on Thursday. What medicines can I carry.
For fever is crocin drop 1.5 ml right? Also for cough kofarest ped 0.7 ml right dosage? Just referring doc prescription of my elder child.

Brief Answer:
Kofarest ped not recommended for this age group

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Kofarest ped is not a recommended drug for this age group. You may use Maxtra drops (0.5 ml thrice daily) if Tixylix baby syrup is not available.
Crocin drops can be given at 10-15 mg/kg/dose only if febrile. So, you may calculate it as per your baby's weight.
Continue with steam. Carry the medicines as advised along with ORS sachets, Syp. Ondansetrone (for vomiting).

Hopefully this will help you.
Take care
