During the latter half of July, I became sick and experienced symtoms such headache, naseau, dizziness, body chills, fatigue, and a slight fever. After a few days, those symptoms began to subside and were replaced by a worsening cough. At one point, I was in the kitchen when my vision suddeny faded, as if it was covered in dark spots in both eyes, growing from the perimeter of my eyes to the center. Although this sometimes occurs when I stand up too fast, during this particular instance I had already been standing and the episode lasted for several minutes. I attempted to blink and sit down in the kitchen to regain my vision, but neither of these attempts were successful. i then felt my way to the living room to lie down on the sofa, where my vision finally returned as the spots subsided. As my cough worsened, I went to the doctors and was diagnosed with pneumonia. Although I took the prescribed antibiotics as directed, the cough lingered longer, although not nearly as severe. It has been a few weeks, but I have noticed that every time I stand up, i experience the same vision problems, which generally subside within a minute, but are also accompanied by the sensation of blood rushing through my head. At times, the symptoms occur while standing as well. At a recent eye doctors appointment in which my prescription was updated, my eyes were examined but determined to be healthy. Is there any connection between the increased visions issues, the sensation of blood rushing through my head, and my recent illness which lasted for about two weeks?
