Question: my name is xxxxxxx I am 43 years old. I normally have meal twice a day. Usually i have a heavy one at about 9 in the morning before going to office, and another at about 6:30pm after returning from office. it was suiting me as taking lunch at 1:00 pm was notbsuiting me. As in that case mostly I didn't feel like taking dinner.

since last few days even after having lunch early in the morning, after taking early dinners I am finding it difficult to digest. This happens only at night that I start to feel heavy or have bad tast of burp.

Can you suggest me some medicine?

Brief Answer:
Possible Dyspepsia. Need further evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concern.

These symptoms possibly reflect Dyspepsia of difficult digestion.

These symptoms although subtle have to be carefully evaluated.

Hence, I advise few baseline tests as follows.

1. Liver function tests/LFT.

2. Upper GI endoscopy.

3. Ultrasound abdomen.

4. Complete stool analysis.

Further management if any is based on test results.
Thank you.

I was not having this problem until last 10 days. Also the problem of indigestion does not occur if I have a very light dinner. I am otherwise fit and can do my daily activity. In themonth of september we had a complete medical check up from our company. I was quit well according to that. Can you suggest me any digestibe syrup to be taken at night ? I think with light dinner it should be fine.

Brief Answer:
Zymex will be of great help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.

In such a case, you can go for syrups which can improve digestion.

I generally prescribe to my patients with Zymec syrup to be taken twice a day after a meal. This syrup is rich in fungal diastase enzyme which is quite effective in increasing your digestive capacity.

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these medications to you.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
