Suggest Remedy For Infection On Wound
Question: is this an infection I should be worried about? I recently washed it with hydrogen peroxide
Brief Answer:
For how long has this been? how did you get it? Do you have any disease?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this wound. I have reviewed the image and it looks clean. I will suggest that you stop hydrogen peroxide as it is not needed at this time. Cleansing with iodine would be enough.
To monitor for infection, watch for pain, redness and any drainage. If these happen, then we would need to be more aggressive and maybe seek antibiotics on board.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
