Suggest Remedy For Infertility

Question: Hi, I was just curious about whether I am infertile and how I could go about finding out. I have been having unprotected sex with my current partner for 7 months and I've had unprotected sex with previous ones before too but I've never gotten pregnant. I have had an STI before and maybe that's why? I am really worried

I read your question and i understand your concern. When a person fails to conceive after one year of unsuccessful attempts then we call them infertiles and work them up for the cause. With your history of sexually transmitted disease, fallopian tube damage or blockage is suspicion and should be ruled out. A hysterosalpingogram will tell the patency of the tubes.

Apart from it, ovulation disorders, hormonal imbalance, uterine fibroids, ovarian insufficiency, PCOS, endometriosis and thyroid problems are some other causes.

Also the male partner be evaluated for any azoospermia or oligospermia. As it takes two of partners to conceive. Some times wrong days selection for coitus when no egg around is the cause. Use11th to 17 days since LMP provided periods are regular and of 28 days. Talk to the fertility consultant and let them help you in this regard.
